Business Loans

After 2 weeks of getting the run-around got turned down. Why? Because I didn't currently have any accounts with them.

I requested an SBA Patriot Express Business Loan for Veterans - l was told that I would be better off with Banner Bank's "Quick Step Loan" because of "The SBA department's reconfiguring and staff turnover." They did not tell me that was their Sba Loan Department within Banner Bank had basically been done away with and they were no longer doing that type of loan. They made it sound like issues with the SBA (Small Business Association) itself.

So I followed their advice and applied for that and was rejected because I "didn't have enough equity in my house" and "Do not have any accounts with them." 1- I had NOT requested a home equity loan. 2 - It is illegal to require a borrower to have accounts currently in order to secure a loan.

So if you would like to get the run-around and waste your time when you could go elsewhere and actually get what you need - then sure, go with Banner Bank. If you want someone who will actually help you and submit you for the loan program you've requested - STAY AWAY from Banner Bank.
