They have no idea what they are doing, or worse are trying to rip people off

They have changed my wifes account so many times we can't keep track. They charge for treatment from us, while charging the insurance as well. Only after a month of trying do they fix...then when switch insurance later...they start billing again...Insurance again is paying them and we are...they will not give back money..then when go higher up say now its not covere by insurance...so we owe them back pay...not them owing us money. No matter how they screw up, it always involves them getting more money or keeping what you pay. Also after years they are not helping as well, and seem to not care how fast you get off...as long as they get paid.

If you need help to get of opiates or heroin this is the place.

When I made a decision about getting off pain pills I thought I could just stop taking them. But I didn't think I would feel so sick & have horrible withdrawal symptoms. I started researching my choices for help with opiate withdrawals.I found Valhalla Place. On their website they have a contact area you can fill out and ask questions. Day or Night.I swear they called me right away and told me about the clinic and I felt comforted by them because the said they'll help me and to come to the clinic. When I arrived at the clinic you can see all the people coming and going or smoking in the parking lot. I walked into the clinic lobby, which was nice looking and people were friendly so was the receptionist.I had no appointment, but that wasn't a problem. I was assisted right away. I was introduced to Chuck, the guy I talked to when I submitted my info online. Chuck recognized my voice and shook my hand and said he was glad I came to get help.Soon after the insurance paperwork and whatnot was done I was given a tour of the place. Also we talked about what medicine will be most helpful to me; Methadone(liquid) or Suboxone (film). After the tour I met with nurse staff to get my blood drawn, blood pressure, and give them my medical history and other things checked. You have to buy a lockbox ($12) or bring one. (Sunday the clinic is closed so you bring your lockbox on Saturday and they will give you a take-out dose.)I was introduced to the counselor I was assigned to and she was very nice. I told her about my history and why I came to Valhalla, etc....Then I was able to dose. There are 6 dosing windows and a sitting area where you wait for you number (numbers are used for privacy) to be called then go to what window you need. The nurse is behind bars which is the only bad looking part of the clinic but its for the safety of the nurse staff. After your first dose they ask that you stay for 20 mins or so to ensure you don't have any issues with the medicine you took. Then you can leave after that. Then the next day you check in with your number at the desk and then go sit in the dosing lobby and wait for your number to be called. There are also groups you can go to Mon-Sat. I suggest going to them, they also have peer groups.I gave Valhalla Place a 4-star rating because they could always improve.
