Peace of Mind, located in Woodbury, Minn., is an early education center, offering a variety of programs, including preschool, half-day preschool, and school-age care. The center offers a wide variety of activities and its curriculum includes art, science, cooking, practical life, plays and language classes. Each toddler and preschool classroom studies a particular culture or region during the school year through activities, such as cooking, hearing speakers of different ethnic backgrounds, field trips to museums, and art exhibits and plays. In addition, all preschool age children participate in ongoing Spanish and sign language training. Most of Peace of Mind s teachers have a two or a four-year degree in early childhood education, elementary education, psychology and sociology.
