They did my appraisals and Insurance Co. praised the thoroughness. I am having more pieces appraised today but same appraiser is not there. Hope new person is as good.

Staff is very uppity and never greets me when I walk in. They also give the lowest amount possible if you are selling jewelry and repair costs are outrageous!! They charge different prices for yellow gold and white gold which no jewelry store does and a salesperson told me the item I bought was exclusive and I saw 3 others at the store a couple months later. Avoid. You will have better luck at Darian Jewelers or Quinns.

If you haven't been to Jewelry By Design, you are really missing out!! They great you with a smile, and by name, get to know you personally and I'm sorry but that means a lot in this day and age. Their merchandise is constantly changing so there is alway something new to look at and their repairs and appraisals are done there on site.



I traded in some gold and got some pretty new jewelry because I got almost double back if I traded. I was very happy. I even had a custom pendant made for my daughter in law and it was absolutely gorgeous. It is just a really cool store, a tysons store right here in Woodbridge. Just recently they have been doing some really neat stuff on Facebook too, it was a really fun promotion over the holidays.

I feel like I am inside the beltway and I am not too far from home. This is a great store. Unusual pieces, always new things and great estate pieces. A gold smith and an appraiser on site and I like that repairs are done on site. Great atmosphere.

Great store, so many choices. I love that the prices are what they are and I don't have to worry about getting the best deal. I traded in my gold and got a perfectly cut diamond in a beautiful setting. More than what I expected. They have a repair shop on premises and an appraiser. I like being known and remembered by name. Pretty store too!

They try to come off as all "uppity" and that they pay the most around....BULL !! The Pawnshop paid me WAY more than them. They are late comers to the game!!! Gave them a try but I am sticking with the local pawnshops!!!

You charge WAY more than all of the other jewelry stores in the area!! Then you just started buying gold and DONT pay NEAR what the others pay!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!! Check all other jewelers before visiting this shop for a price!!!!!! Their repairs cost the MOST in the area as well !!! Truly laughable prices compared to other jewelry sotres in area!!!!! JOKE ! Joke by Design is more like it!!
