I ate here with my family last...

I ate here with my family last week and we waited over an hour for our dinner. I ordered my sons meal with our drinks, expecting it to arrive early. We placed our orders 5-10 minutes later and after asking the waitress about my sons meal- she said she’d check on it. 20 minutes later, nothing. 30 minutes go by and I ask again and she said they’re working on it. A table is seated behind us. Our server says sorry to us again, but yet NO FOOD. I’m frustrated and my 3 year old is becoming restless. The table behind us gets ALL THEIR FOOD. I see the server FINALLY run over to the manager. He apologizes and says he was going to take a discount off our plate and realized we didn’t even have our food yet. Well he apologized that we had to wait for an hour for our food. We got the check and I see that he took off the kids meal- and I see a sign- KIDS EAT FREE ON TUESDAY. I was so upset b/c after we received our meals- my husband asked for no sauce on his omelet and I asked for no cheese. His omelet was covered in it and mine in cheese. He barely ate his meal and I only ate it b/c I figured it’d take another hour for our meals to arrive. We were mad because our food took so long to arrive and it came out wrong. We weren’t taken care of and I will never come back.

Always Disappointing...

I love IHOP, but this one location continues to disappoint. It is literally across the street from my neighborhood and when I want a burger or pancakes I have that option which is nice. My husband and I decided after a long day out we wanted to sit down with our two year old son and have dinner. There is a long list of things gone wrong:

1) While waiting for a table, the restaraunt was empty except for maybe four people, but the hostess wanted us to wait for a corner booth by the front door that was being used by several employees and covered with papers.

2) Our waitress took 10 minutes to take our drink order

3) When our drinks showed up 15 minutes later, and the waitress look confused and asked me to taste my coke to make sure it was coke. My husbands water looked dirty.

4) Our food showed up 35 minutes later from the manager. I oredered the tenders with a salad. I did not receive my salad. My husband ordered the all you can eat pancakes and my son had a side of seasoned fries that were left unseasoned.

5) After bothering 2 waiters about my salad, our waitress finally showed up and had the nerve to ask what dressing I asked for again, after I saw her pretend to write it down the first time.

6) My husband wanted more pancakes, but our waitress was just standing in the kitchen (we could see it from our booth) waiting on food that wasn't yet cooked. My husband had to bother another waiter about his pancakes. When he finally received them, they were undercooked.

7) We asked for the check and we were told we couldn't pay at the front even though 3 people were just standing there. Once again, we had to rely on the waitress. She didn't show up before my husband got fed up so he made his way to the kitchen. $ employees were calling for her to pay attention before she did.

We did not tip because the food wasn't good, service was horrendous, and our child was still hungry because he did not like his fries. What is even worse is that this is a regular occurence for this IHOP. We always have problems at this location. We have decided that if we should dare to eat at IHOP again, it will be the location on Hoadly Road....not Smoketown!

International House Of Perfection

IHOP has wonderful pancakes, french toast, and waffles. They have great prices and you get so much for your money. Surprisingly, their breakfast food is only the half of it. Their salads, appetizers, and other entrees are just as good as their breakfast items, so no matter what you're in the mood for, IHOP is perfect.
