Dr. Ayorinde Akinrinlola completed medical school and General Surgery Residency training at Howard University. Following his residency, he pursued a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, further honing his expertise in the field. Dr. Akinrinlola is a highly skilled board certified general and vascular surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. With extensive experience in a busy hospital-based practice, he specializes in various aspects of vascular surgery, including limb salvage, carotid interventions, dialysis access, and aneurysmal repair. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership positions and demonstrated leadership abilities. He served as the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery and Medical Director of the Peripheral Vascular Clinical Council & Endovascular Lab at various times during his 10-year span at Winchester Medical Center. Dr. Akinrinlola’s specific interest in endovascular treatment of patients with peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and end-stage renal disease make him an exceptional addition to our interventional and vascular team. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Akinrinlola’s devotion for patient care and his personable nature are qualities that make him stand out. He is a compassionate individual who genuinely cares for his patients and their well-being. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Akinrinlola is a loving family man. He cherishes moments spent with his family, watching soccer matches and enjoys traveling whenever his schedule permits.
