My family doctor referred me to VinCon for a screening mammogram covered by my health insurance annually. I arrived 15 min prior to my appointment, as asked, to complete the initial paperwork prior to my first appointment. After waiting for 65 minutes, I asked at reception how much longer it would be, as I'd seen numerous people come in after me who'd already been seen and left. 15 min more and I was called back for my screening. I politely asked if they were short-staffed. The woman stiffened her back and assured me they were simply very busy. I did not have access to my previous films due to extenuating circumstances, so was immediately "tsk"ed for that. The technician was brusque after this and so was the radiologist, who explained that they spend " a lot of time" with their patients explaining things which was why they were so far behind. Funnily enough, I was out of there in less than 10 minutes with a wave that my results would be sent to my physician. So, if they spend so much time with their patients, why was I given the bum's rush and handled so brusquely simply for asking about their staffing after more than an hour wait? Finally, I was told that I "might" need further screening for something they weren't sure was a problem and that it would cost me another $230+ out of pocket. If I do need a follow-up I believe I will be going elsewhere. I suggest you do the same!

Awesome place. Staff is kind and considerate. Service is outstanding with new equipment and competent doctors. Two doctors on site at all times. Don't see that anywhere else. Send your family members there...

VinCon Diagnostics was recommended by a friend after I'd had negative mammogram experience at a different facility. When I was given orders for a subsequent breast ultrasound, I opted to try out my friend's recommendation.The office had about 8 patients waiting. I had to show up 15 minutes early for new patient paperwork. I was in and out, including paperwork in less than 45 minutes. The receptionist was very personable, welcoming and discreet. But the biggest reason for the excellent rating was the technician that performed my ultrasound. She was also discreet, efficient and emphathetic. She talked me through the whole procedure with the appreciation that it was an awkward test. I've had other types of ultrasounds and was ill at ease.. She made it as easy as she could and I was very appreciative.Because all the paperwork was complete, I was able to just walk out without having to go back through reception/remittance.I will go back there for my yearly exams for certain.
