He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Illinois Medical School, Dr. Castro has a passion for quality health care. Named “Top Doctor†of Internal Medicine by Orlando Magazine, as well as Chief of Staff and Chairman of Internal Medicine at Winter Park Hospital for many years, Dr. Castro brings to his patients a sterling reputation as well as a truly compassionate bedside manner. Dr. Castro believes in an intense evaluation of all aspects of a patient’s well-being. Methodically, he begins his diagnosis as he addresses each one of your issues, concerns or symptoms. Through a healthy, respectful dialogue and with his knowledge and experience—he then prescribes an appropriate course of therapy and treatment. The serious side of your health is balanced with a good sense of friendliness and familiarity.
