The employee I dealt with today is not practicing "healthy habits." Not only was he not wearing a mask, with the coronavirus confirmed cases and deaths increasing in Polk County, but when I asked him why he was not protecting customers he told me he WANTED to get the virus and was TRYING to get it because he was strong and when he got well he would be immune and then keep customers safe that way. When I replied that the CDC and the entire scientific community recommends that we wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus, he told me that he doesn't believe any of what they say, as well as the news! How can a store that supposedly promotes "health and wellness" employ a man who is proud to tell a customer that? Irresponsible! When I told him that he could be asymptomatic right now and spreading it to customers, he had nothing to say about that. I have enjoyed shopping at Healthy Habits in the past, but now that I see their employees care so little about their customer's health I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other stores I can shop at whose employees demonstrate that they actually care about my health.
