The UNCSA Community Music School has been an outreach program of UNCSA since 1976. We offer the highest quality music instruction for musicians of all ages. Courses include Suzuki Violin, Musikgarten and individual classes in a wide range of instruments taught by some of the area’s top working musicians. In addition to our quality classical offerings, we also offer group classes and lessons in pop and jazz. Conveniently located in the Stevens Center in downtown Winston-Salem, the Community Music School offers a wide variety of courses. From group classes in piano and music theory, to beginning and advanced lessons for all ages, to certified Suzuki Method courses, the Community Music School serves the total music community of the triad. Students may also participate in Music Summer Intensives on the UNCSA main campus, which offer rich learning experiences and abundant performance opportunities.
