DO NOT EAT HERE....i just ordered from here and they got my food wrong and i called back and told them they got it wrong and the lil daughter answered the phone first i wouldnt have a lil kid running a register to begin with....and she told me that she went back and told them they were not to put any vegetables in it and i know for a fact that is probably a lie.....she said that i could get two dollars off or a free meal the next time i called and i asked i said well thats all i have to eat why cant i get the free meal now and i paid 7 dollars for the plate of food i ordered and she told me that i would pay half that because the dinners were nine dollars now and i said well ok thank you and all i got was a sorry from her i will never order from here again this is the second time they have screwed up.....last time they forgot my daughters plate and they brought it out here and tried to make me pay again for it when i had already paid for it....NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET MY BUSINESS....i wouldnt give them yours either

I was eating in this restaurant and noticed that the waitress was washing the used white foam cups in the sink and staking them up. I thought it was peculiar so I kept on staring... To my surprise she began using them to serve drinks! I felt so bad for the folks down the walk way that were drinking out of the cups and they had kids! Wait, it gets worse, another customer requested a togo plate, the waitress went and got it, but accidentally dropped the plate on the floor she apologized to the customer and told her she would get another plate. At that time I was about to walk out. When I was paying for my food the waitress had the plate in her hand. She removed the top plate, and placed the one she dropped on the top of the stack! Who do they think they are fooling? The waitresses speak very little english as does the staff in the back, so it would be futile to protest. I will never eat there again. Too bad because the food tasted good!

DO NOT GO TO (NEW CHINA IN WINSTON SALEM ON UNIVERSITY PARKWAY). My husband and I use to eat there a lot. The last 2 times we were there the food was dried out they never repleanished the food even when asked to do so.Never got a drink refill to beat it all I had water to drink.The staff seem to be new we have not seen any of the other waitresses the last 2 times. The other people were friendly these holler across the restaurant.They also wi lok straight at the customer and holler in their native language while making you think that there is something major wronge. While we were their this last time there were 2 different families that got up and went elsewhere. can't say I blame them with the treatment that we got.We paid over $20.00 for us to eat and could have gotten better food at a burgerplace not much to pick from and so dried out it tasted like cardboard. THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE THE ONE STAR BUT IT WON'T LET ME GIVE A HALF STAR

This place had a bad reputation before new management stepped in. I took the bold, brave step to try it out for lunch since that management switch this past Spring and have never once had a bad or even mediocre experience. I visit here often. The food is good, you have just about every food type you should expect in a chinese buffet, the service is prompt, and the price is just about unbeatable. Despite the other poster's warning, I've never seen a bug even close to this restaurant and am confident that it is as clean or cleaner than other restaurants in the area. You can do far worse than to stop by New China.

This place was nasty!! I was seated and the person I was with came over and killed a bug climbing up the wall behind me. I reached for a napkin out the napkin holder and several ROACHES ran out. We told the girl working but she didn't say or do anything about it. The manager wasn't called out or anything! We couldn't eat anything else!! Paid full price for this meal but I will NEVER go back and I will tell all of my friends about this place. It doesn't deserve 1 star!!!
