I have been a retail customer of Frank's for 10+ years and have always been pleased. Today I was subjected to incredibly rude behavior by an employee and the owner himself. After completing a transaction the employee sat in a chair & began talking with another person; the owner also engaged in another conversation. At least 15 min had passed when a delivery truck arrived. I was finally acknowledged and asked if I needed help. I started to explain when I was abruptly stopped and informed that he had to go help unload the truck. The owner finally approached and proceeded to excuse his own rude behavior by telling me he had been talking with a "longtime" [translate more important] customer. He then stated he would be charged if no help was provided to the delivery people & wanted to go write a check. I would have understood had I not been totally ignored until the delivery truck appeared. Frank's has lost a long time, though apparently unimportant, customer to the competition.
