I had Gary out to my house because my kitchen had flooded. He quickly found the problem created by a different plumber and gathered up his materials and got the problem fixed. The service overall from the lady taking my call to the service manager following up after the call was completed was just outstanding!!!! I couldn't ask for anything better.

I was so impressed with their reliability especially in a snowstorm. The technician was able to still get out to my house during the day that he was scheduled for. He also worked promptly and quietly so that I could attend a work conference via my laptop without being disturbed. He quickly fixed our refrigerator and we are very happy with the results!

I am a very far person and try to give people the benefit of doubt, but this was by far one of my worst experiences I have ever had with a company. My air went out on a Friday and I called them. They told me that they could not get there until Tuesday (which I thought was too far away) and I said ok. Tuesday came and they NEVER called me. Then Wednesday came and they called and said that they would come out that day and they never showed up. They finally came on Thursday which was a week later. They were there a short time and said the air was fixed. Well the next day the air went out again. I called back and they said they would come out the next week. It took them another week to come back out. When they finally came out the second time, they still only stayed a little while and did not do a detailed job. A few days later it went out again. When I called to talk to the manager, they did not want me to speak to her so I left a message, it took her 2 days to call me back. They came out a 3rd time and fixed it and no lie 3 days later it stopped working AGAIN. When I comforted the company about their poor service and not fixing the issue, they said that each time they come out they check different things, which made no sense to me. After almost a month, the air was still not fixed and I had to use a different company. Do yourself a favor and just go with another company from the beginning.

Terrible, terrible terrible! First they sent completely unqualified techs that didn't fix the problems, then had scheduling nightmares for the rescheduling. They seem to enjoy making you wait and the more ticked off you get, boy are you going to pay with more wait time.

Advanced Appliance Service, Inc. is the least customer centered company I think I've ever dealt with and if it weren't for AHS feeding them work (under a long defunct business name interestingly enough), I can't imagine they'd still be around. Caught them in several untruths, lots of double speak, avoidance, blame shifting, and then yes, the punish you if you complain game.

If you want to keep your sanity and want working utilities, STAY AWAY!!!

Horrible customer service where they put you on hold for half an hour. They scheduled appointment for AC repair for Monday, but never showed up that day. Only at 5 PM they contacted me to let me know they were not coming and were rescheduling. Technician unknowledgeable charging to replace parts that were in good order just to make a profit!!!! And for the rest of the repair, never went to the core of the problem, but just putting lipstick on a pig......of course, charging a hefty sum yet again!
Run as fast as you can from those clowns that pretend to be professionals!!!

This is one good company,we have used them for several years now and have alway appreciated just how caring they were,from keeping my carpet clean with foot covers to taking their shoes off before coming in. We just had James come out and replace one of our comodes to a taller one because my husband had a knee replacement . He was so polite,and very professional. They came out, repaired my leaking shower in late November under my home warranty. A month and a half later, the same repair they did began leaking again. Rather than standing behind their work and fixing it, their tech tried to imply that it was leaking due to freezing. He lied to the home warranty people and even said that this was an exterior wall just so that they wouldn't have to repair it under their own warranty. This is on a shower, on a second floor, 12 feet from the exterior wall. Anyone that took physics in high school would know that it would be impossible to freeze. I told the tech all of this and tried to explain to the young kid that this was not due to freezing and would be impossible. The next company came out, realized it was a faulty part and even found OBVIOUS EVIDENCE OF CHANNEL LOCK MARKS ON THE PART WHERE ADVANCED'S GUY TRIED TO REMOVE IT AND BROKE IT. They tried to charge me $250 to change a cartridge out. Complete crooks and total lack of integrity. I'm literally ashamed of you guys. At least Carolina Plumbing sent out some guys with some common sense and fixed it within minutes.

I use AHS, and they have sent this company to my home four times within the last year all for the very same issue with my ac. Each time they come out, I am told that I have a leak in my system and prior to leaving, they collect their fee PLUS THE COST OF REFILLING THE FREON - and assure me that the problem has been taken care of and that I shouldn't have any more issues. Each time about three months later, here we go again. I finally contact AHS today and advised that I will be cancelling my plan if they don't send another company out. Not only did they contact another company, they also offered to pay the service call fee after seeing how many times this company has been to my home for the same issue. I get it now, the money is not in fixing the problem, the money is in saying you fixed it when you didn't so that you will be back. I may be a woman, but not a stupid one. I only wish I could put a negative in front of the one star.

We use AHS for our home warranty and Advanced Appliance is the company they send out for everything. Best service in the area by far! Hard workers, show up when they say they will, and I have been satisfied with every call they have made to my home. Also, the guys they send out are courteous and friendly. What else could you want?

They told me that they could come during 1-2:30 and then called at 2:15 to tell me that they could do 3:00-4:30. At 3:15 they called to tell me they could do 4:30-6:00.

I got off work early to be at home and they never arrived. I had to wait another week to get my air conditioning fixed in the middle of summer. I tried to go with another company but they were the only ones that would accept my insurance. Advanced Appliance never seemed to care that they were treating me poorly. I was very nice and tried to tell them I was unhappy with the way they had delayed my service but they just continued to act as if they didn't care.

I would not recommend this company. Had to call them after 2 weeks to find out what was going on with parts and they had not been able to get in touch with their Tech. When finially came out again they had the wrong part. Another week to wait, when asked to have it shipped overnight (their vendor's error) they said NO. When I called to speak to management was told in a meeting then passed on to dispatch and told they were gone for the day. Explained if vendor error they should ship the correct part overnight and if it was their error then they should have it shipped overnight. Once again told NO. A simple part and repair will have taken about 4 weeks by the time they get out again. With tempertures in the 90's coming that is not acceptable. Management would not even talk to me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Not even a 1 star.

I have worked with Advanced Appliance Service several times and they have always been great to work with. Every time I have used them they have always been fairly quick to send someone out. I recently used them when my heat pump went out and I was very impressed with how quick they were able to diagnose and fix the problem.
