Soup was cold. A monkey could have made a better grilled cheese. The cheese wasn't even melted. It was supposed to have ham on it and there was none. The chicken sandwich was small and didn't compare to a McDonald's sandwich. What a total waste of money. I will never go back.

My office mates and family have eaten her countless times. The food and atmosphere is great. The only thing that sours me is the service. They are getting so slow where you can't expect to get your food 30 minutes after ordering. This is why we have had to take this restaurant off the office list and family list also. Too bad...the food is great.

2-21-08 My husband and I decided to have lunch at Betty Jo's today. We left work early to beat the lunch rush and arrived there shortly before 11:30. We placed our order immediately -2 burgers, nothing special. At 12:00, our food still had not arrived and we noticed people that ordered after us started receiving their food. We asked our waitress where our food was and she said our order was accidentally deleted but she put a "rush" on our food. At 12:35, our food still had not arrived. Meanwhile, we watched several baskets containing burgers float by us. My husband was very upset and asked to speak to a manager. At about the same time, our food showed up. The first words out of the mgr's mouth were "food was backed up a half hour because we have a large group in the other room.". I was expecting an apology and never rec'd one. The mgr was very rude and asked "What is it that you want". My husband said, free food. Mgr walked away with our tix, said eat your food. We left.

The food and the service are determind by how busy they are. They have good wings- but what place doesn't. Most of the food is below par and usually the service is fair. They do carry the most variety of beers in Winona
