I have been an employee at the Island Weaver for almost five months,And a customer for much longer, and I am still amazed by the beauty of this little shop. The friendly and competent teachers and employees seek to make each customer feel valued, and the high quality supplies are any fiber artist's dream. Also, many local artists contribute finished handmade projects to offer for sale in the shop, so the Island Weaver even has something beautiful to offer for the non-crafters among us. Finally, the shop offers quality classas with experienced instructors in a variety of crafts and experience levels, including knit, crochet, weaving, spinning, tatting and more depending on the month. I would highly recommend stopping by! I absolutely adore working here, and I hope others will come to love this shop as much as I do.
