Established in 1997, Windsor Middle School is a part of the Windsor Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Windsor Middle School s facilities feature a gymnasium, assembly room, library media center and activity club. It serves nearly 960 students in grades six through eight. The school has received the California Distinguished School award and the California Golden Bell Award. Windsor Middle School organizes a variety of after-school sports activities for students, including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. It provides a range of instructional programs in language arts, social studies, mathematics and science. The school also conducts physical education, band, choir and chorus classes.
