I'm very happy that I went to Sean for my wedding dress alterations. He didn't require me to start my alterations months in advance, like the bridal shop wanted me to do. In addition, he was very patient and made sure that I was happy with all aspects of my dress. He would alter one portion of the dress, have me come in and try it one, and then alter the next portion. His attention to detail and the care he puts into his work goes above and beyond.

Sean was amazing.

Our suits arrived a week before our Wedding. We ordered them from an online custom shop. They needed a lot of alterations.

Sean was patient and extremely helpful in explaining to us what was necessary to make them fit properly.

I initially found Alteration House by way of an exhaustive Google search. I was searching for only the best locally and the reviews were positive. It was incredibly easy to book my appointment with him online. Sean operates his business from his fully-equipped home garage. At first, I was surprised by the location; however, Sean presented with a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor; so, I quickly felt at ease and knew I was in capable hands. Since, I’ve brought him items for repair, several dresses (including a bridesmaid dress), and a wedding gown he practically recreated to suit my individual needs and petite body type. Sean is knowledgeable, experienced, patient, detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and offers outstanding customer service. His work is precise, impressive, and always ready in a prompt and timely manner. I would highly recommend Alteration House for any and all of your tailoring needs.

What an amazing tailor! Sean was honest, accommodating, reliable and fast! I picked up my suit earlier today (Tuesday) after dropping it off Friday and it came out perfect. When I first met Sean and put the suit on, he told me things I should definitely do and things that were optional but was sure to tell me if it would be worth the money or not. Wow! I have been using Sean at Alteration House for a little over a year for both my personal alterations and alterations for my business. I have a custom suit company and when things need tweaking or a full redo and I do not want to ship them back to the factory in Asia, Sean is up for the challenge. Not only is he fully competent to make the alterations, they look as good if not better than what the initial product looked like. You will be hard pressed to find any evidence that your item has been altered except that it fits to a tee! There are times when I have needed an item super fast and he has surprised me with how quickly he can turn an item around. Sean also uses an online scheduling service that makes it very easy to schedule a visit instead of calling and playing phone tag. If you need any alterations, please give Alteration House a try. You will not be disappointed!

I also want to mention that I initially walked in with 6 shirts and two pairs of pants that I wanted to alter. After trying on the shirts and discussing my options, Sean thought it would be best NOT to alter the shirts and only do the pants. He could have easily done the small changes I was thinking about doing and charged me for them. That was several hundred dollars’ worth of business that Sean passed on because he wanted to do what was right for ME.

Sean did an excellent job hemming suit pants for me. Location and appointment times are super convenient. Easy to find right off of CR 535 in Windermere.

I went in with my wedding dress and two of my bridesmaids last week with a laundry list of design changes I wanted to make to my dress. I bought my dress about 8 months ago, so I've had plenty of time to over analyze it and come up with reasons why it's not perfect. And here's why I'm giving Sean and his business 5 stars... He patiently listened to my wish list, and then talked me out of most of the changes I wanted to make. And I'm so glad he did! He reminded me of all the reasons I originally fell in love with and purchased my dress, and told me how lovely my dress is on me, without any alterations. He is so knowledgable in what he does, and most of the changes I wanted to make would have affected the overall integrity of my dress. Not only that, but he saved me so much money in unnecessary alterations that I ultimately may have ended up hating. I left with just having some of the beading removed, a bustle added, and a lovely and very reasonably priced veil that they are making just for me! If you want a seamstress that will blindly do as you ask without thinking of the end result, don't come here. Sean is honest, fair, knowledgeable, and has your best interest in mind. If that is what you're looking for, this is your place!!! So glad I found this place. Thanks Alteration House for making me fall in love with my dress again, and for saving me from potentially royally screwing up my lovely dress! Can't wait to see it again!!!

The only place that I will take my suits to. Sean is a genius, Friendly service, really helpful in recommending the right alterations and fantastic work. His tailoring is of the highest quality, plus fast turn-around and value for money. You are paying for quality work, but when it turns an off the shelf suit into a perfectly tailored suit, it is worth it.
