Greedy, Heartless, and Mean! These are the words I use to describe the staff at Winder Animal Hospital. We have a five year-old kitten that has been diagnosed with multiple issues. She has Bladder Stones, Diabetes and Kidney Problems. We rescued her when she was a young kitten, and she has been a part of our family since. She was our Daughter’s first Kitten and is very much loved. With all of these medical problems we have made the choice to euthanize her because she is in pain and we cannot afford to treat all of these problems she has. When my Wife called WAH the staff made a BAD situation even worse. The person she talked with told her that she was a bad person for wanting to euthanize her and they would not do that at their office. So this folks, is how Winder Animal Hospital operates. They have no regard for the fact that this sweet cat is suffering, they only care about money and seeing how much of it they can squeeze out of people. Regardless of treatments our cat is terminally ill-she is going to pass away soon, and no treatment is going to change that or give her a better life. My Wife is already upset as we all are, and these horrible, mean spirited people have made her feel worse for trying to do the right thing. If you want a PETA/LIBERAL mind set then by all means use WAH; you will not be disappointed. If you want to have mercy, kindness, and do what’s ultimately the best thing for your animals go somewhere else. By the way this is not our first encounter with WAH. Several years ago they did the same thing to us, but we let them make us believe that treatments would work. They soaked us for every dollar they could and then soaked us for more to euthanize our cat. Shame on you WAH for upsetting people that are already distressed! B******

I have had to have 2 of my dog put to sleep and has chosen doctor duffy and his group of veterinarians to get me through the grieving process and to take the best care of my animals.I highly recommend this group if you need anything from animal care like normal shots teeth cleaning to friendly staff for euthanasia. my family did not comfort me as much as they did.
