Murdock Middle High School, located in Winchendon, Mass., offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades seven through eight. It has an enrollment of more than 620 students and is governed by the Winchendon Public Schools. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, world history and geography, mathematics, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry and health and physical education. In addition, it offers fine arts, foreign language, music and computer technology. The school provides School-to-Career, an internship program that is designed to get students out into the real work world and provide them with experience. Murdock Middle High School also provides a variety of sports activities that include basketball, ice hockey and track and field.
