The most important thing Wendy Winstead, our designer, did for us at the outset of our kitchen renovation was to give us reasonable expectations. She explained that all pricing and time estimates on our job were based on what was visible and known, but that we would be prudent to prepare for something hidden or unknown that could come up to change either the cost or the time needed to complete the job. Wendy was right, but she was also very professional and helpful in working through the issues with us. Wendy was very understanding of our budget, had many good ideas to help us achieve the room that we wanted. We also liked working with the contractor who did the job, and found the workmen to be very good at what they do, as well as very respectful of our house and property. All in all, we were very pleased at the result.
