Dr. Shapiro specializes in internal medicine with Christiana Care Health System. She joined Christiana Care with 12 years as an outpatient family physician, and is a diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians with board certification in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Shapiro earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990, and completed a family practice residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
