Silverside Church is a 174 year old caring community that tries to understand and respond to the teachings attributed to Jesus of Nazareth and the God his teachings and ministries revealed. Compassion and social justice guide how we make an impact, and aesthetics help us visualize and express the mysteries of life and spirituality. We encourage our members to claim their own perspectives. We are a community that celebrates diversity. Any seeker is warmly embraced, regardless of ethnicity or cultural background, sexual orientation, economic situation, or previous religious experience, including no religious background at all.
