I've heard of the Station Brake for years but just never think to go there' Last night myself with 8 other friends visited this place to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, we were skeptical about what we were getting ourselves into . The place seemed, well, dismal from outside. We were greeted and seated promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and the server was very friendly.Most of us had a cocktail which was generous in portion.( I'm used to a good stiff drink after a hard day) .We also ordered a bottle of wine to celebrate a birthday. They had many to choose from with many at reasonable prices.I ordered the zucchini appetizer which I could immediately tell it was homemade.Cheryl had the stuffed banana peppers which she shared with George. They said that they were extremely pleased. Maryanne had the stuffed mushrooms which also got a thumbs up. Five of us got soup, wedding and cream of mushroom and 4 got the salad which had at least 12 different greens. EXCELLENT!! From there our entrees were across the board. I must tell you we were just beside ourselves. The chicken and veal dishes were not only generous but you could cut them with a fork.Sam said his ribeye steak was better than Mortans or Ruths Chris.Everyone was pleased with the quality, the portions and especially the prices .We signed their email guest book with birthday and anniversary. The vote is unanimous that this hidden but easy to get to diamond in the rough is WELL worth your discovery.

I rate this restaurant way over priced. There were 6 of us for 3 Birthdays - our bill came to $195.00 - the waitress automatically added her tip...then I separately purchased 6 slices of cake which came to $17.12 - I paid the bill forgot to put -0-in the tip area - she took a tip without my approval..my bank records show $20.22WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN OR REFER IT TOANYONE...WE COULD HAVE CHOSEN ANOTHER RESTAURANT WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE, EXCELLENT FOOD AND THE WAITRESS WOULD NOTAUTOMATICALLY TAKE HER TIP....WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE RESTAURANT - OUR SERVICE WAS BAD, ONE STEAK WAS GIVEN TO THE WRONG PERSON...SORRY IS ALL WE GOT.....NO ACCOMADATION.....IF YOU GO TO THIS RESTAURANT WATCH YOU BILL & MAKE SURE YOUFILL IN THE TIP LINE WITH A -0- OR THE AMOUNT.

Excellent food and service .... with a fine selection of entrees from veryreasonable specials to fine cuisine dishes.
