Beware - do NOT use this company to build your home. If I could give negative stars, I would. I highly recommend you do MUCH research before signing any contract - talk to trade professionals in the area and get their feedback about this company; find home owners who have been held hostages to their building practices (there's plenty of them out there I promise.) Over the last year I have been enraged, bewildered and puzzled while watching my best friend struggle with Southwest Homes to get house built. It takes them forever to get anything done and most things must be done twice because the original attempt was sub-par, half-assed and unacceptable by even low standards. There's been 3 different general contractors on her build within 11 month period - seems to me this company has serious issues not only in the field, but internally as well. Do not trust anything they tell you verbally, make sure every specific detail is in writing - and even then you'll have to continually remind them of what they agreed to. Weasels - scammers - disgraceful - they should be put out of business. I'd be happy to provide more specifics about the horrific experience I've witnessed - reach out to me as I'm committed to discouraging anyone from doing business with Southwest Homes.
