Life Works is a service oriented organization dedicated to expert, efficient and environmentally conscious Clean Ups of residential, commercial, rental, storage facility or bare land properties. Our founders began doing clean ups in 1964, and we have done many thousands of projects for satisfied customers. Life Works cleans up properties of all sizes and challenges...from demolishing and removing buildings and trailers...to landscape cleanups of brush and yard debris...to emptying storerooms and garages...to cleaning up messes, trash and junk left behind by ex-tenants in the house and yard of rental properties...to removing almost anything you need to have gone. Our MISSION is to help save our planet by cleaning up in an environmentally conscious and sustainable manner. To accomplish this we sort everything from our cleanups into three possible destinations, which we call the 3R’s. REUSE – Items in good condition that can be used by folks that need them are place in our free-yard which is the oldest free-yard in Mendocino County… that way someone else can use what you no longer need and less stuff goes to the landfill! Good for them GOOD for our planet! RECYCLE – Everything possible! Metal, Cardboard, glass, wood, green waste and many other materials and recycled by us. RELEASE – Somethings just have to go to the transfer yards! But we use two of the most environmentally conscious transfer yard in our two counties. Plus our crew is punctual, reliable, and hardworking they pick up every little scrap of trash and do it efficiently and quietly.

Our Menu of Residential & Commercial Services: CLEAN-UPS: We can haul away almost anything from any kind of property • Construction Debris • Wood Waste • Household trash • Yard Waste • Tree Branches & Trunks • Furniture & Appliances • Cardboards, Glass and Metal • Hazmat Issues DUMP RUNS: We can remove anything and everything from your property. We sort it through our Re-use, Recycle, and Release system. • Our dump run charges include all labor, trucking & transfer yard fees. • We offer generous discounts for 2 or more dump runs from the same property plus we give free loading time on first dump run. PROPERTY PREPS: We have prepared thousands of properties for sale, re-rental or change of use. We offer a one stop shop package of services that will turn your property around to make it completely ready for its next use, including interior repaints, fixing dry wall issues, and minor handyman repairs. JANITORIAL: We clean property to a professional standard including counters, drawers, cabinet, toilets, showers, walls, vacuuming and odor removal. We make it smells and feels good when we are done. YARD WORK / LANDSCAPE TUNE-UPS: We love putting out of control over grown yards back into good and beautiful order. Mowing, weed eating, brush, hedges & tree trimming, weeding, raking up of leaves and grass, diagnose and repair irrigation systems. PRESSURE WASHING: High pressure washing to remove mold, grime and dirt, spider webs, and fungal growth from exterior walls and patios etc. HAZMAT REMOVAL: Removal of most hazmat materials including paint, oils, old gas, household and garden chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides, herbicides to the appropriate legal hazmat disposal site. DEMOLITION SERVICE: Demolition and dismantling of most structures including sheds, travel trailers, mobile homes plus removal of all debris. We recently demolished and removed a thirty two foot trailer which had been a rotten eyesore on a country property for 25 years… when were done, there was no trace that it had ever been there! Last year, we demolished and removed a large falling down three story house. When we finished, again we resorted the site back to natural past. TREE WORK: Whatever your tress need, from one tree to many, we can definitely take care of it expertly for you. We have vast experiences in caring for trees from trimming branches to full tree removal, and grinding down stumps. WINTER PREPATIONS SERVICES: Roof & gutter cleaning, Swamp cooker covering and any other work needed to prepare your place for the winter. We are experts at tarping leaky roofs, motor homes etc. MOVING SERVICES: We offer any and every level of help that you may need to move you from your old home to your new one. If needed, we can even pack everything up for you. Most clients have us do the grunt work of loading their furniture and things gently and safely onto a truck, carefully driving to their new home, and unloading everything and placing things into the right room. We usually set up the beds and dressers in the bedrooms, put all the bath stuff in the bathroom, kitchen stuff into the kitchen, etc. SENIOR SERVICES: We have moved many seniors and elderly clients into senior housing or mobile homes. We have a special heart for serving seniors and take special care to listen to their needs and make sure they are well taken care of.
