Green Mtn. Concert Services, Inc ( GMCS ) is a Northeast based company that provides best-of-class security solutions including: event security & crowd management ; commercial patrols and protection ; corporate risk management ; and higher education event planning and consulting. Our Event Services Division provides solutions for any type and size of event with capabilities to handle ; planning and management, security services, site production, admissions and parking. We also provide in-house or on-site beginner through advanced training in security, first aide & CPR, and production coordination and control. Founded in 1995, GMCS cut its teeth providing security at the Memorial Auditorium and Flynn Theater in Burlington, VT and at the Grateful Dead Highgate shows in 1994 and 1995 when 60, 000 + people marched into a town of 3, 397. After 15 years, GMCS security directors, event and production managers, and training staff have developed their skills in every type of venue and for every type of event. The rapid growth of GMCS is primarily due to the personalized customer service and formidable client relationships that is at the core of our business philosophy. Whether it's a Promoter or Venue GM who hires GMCS we believe in creating a true partnership for event success. With over 100 years of combined experience our management team can provide expertise in all areas of event planning which is an added asset when hiring GMCS to provide a security solution. GMCS believes that professional development, ongoing coaching and team leadership produce private security Team Members that excel in the basics and add value on every assignment. We are committed to quality through our A.S.K. Program: Knowledge ' Based on a foundation of instructor-led training, coupled with extensive on-site briefings, our teams know your venue, your clients and your partners. GMCS holds licenses in nine ( 9 ) states. Without exception, all Security Division Team Members are licensed in the state of the event. The following is a list of just some of the events we have provided security to: We are proud to be working with Plymouth State College, St. Anselm College, Union College, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, The University of Vermont, The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, The City of Burlington's Memorial Auditorium, Higher Ground Productions at The Shelburne Museum, Norwich University's Kreitzburg Arena, Middlebury College, St. Michaels College, Champlain College, Burlington's Waterfront Park, The Colonial Theater in in Keene NH, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Hudson Valley Renegades, Lowell Spinners, Jam Productions, and Great Northeast Productions, Inspiration Unlimited LLC, just to name a few. GMCS is as much a part of this festival as our internal staff, and I personally could not imagine the Festival running smoothly without them. The best part about working an event with Green Mtn.
