I was in at Harley Davidson in Williston,ND today and was extremely pleased with the service from Anya. We were on vacation last week in MN and stopped at several HD's on the way back in an attempt to find a small HD 3 in 1 helmet for me. The last store in Minot, ND finally had the proper size but they would not give us a military discount. They were the only HD store that would not. Today, we brought our headsets to Williston, ND to get hooked up and it turns out my helmet was not compatible for headset. I was so upset because we just spent $225 on a helmet (no military discount) that we never took out of the box until today. Every Harley dealer we were at said it would be compatible and to just visit the parts department. We were upset that all the dealers indicated that it would work with a headset. Anya was so helpful today, she knew the helmet was never opened and agreed to exchange it for one that would work with a headset. She took the time to properly fit my helmet (no one else did in the previous 3 stores) and explain the features. She even took the helmet to parts department to make sure before I left. Not only did I get a better helmet, she gave us the 10% military discount. We were disappointed however that returns can not be made from purchases at other HD's. We had a salesperson help us in Eden Prairie, MN with a license plate holder, gave him the model and year of the bike, and had our ND plate with us, turns out he gave us the wrong plate holder which was made for a street glide not an electra glide classic and we spent $90! When we got home, over 600 miles later the plate holder did not fit and we tried to return to our local store 7 days later with receipt, but they would not accept a return from another store. Very frustrating, but they did help me out of a bad situation with my helmet. So appreciative of Anya and the folks in the parts department. It would be nice if all HD's would exchange items with receipts within 30 days.
