Dr. Lisa Toole joined Northeastern Eye Institute in November 2008. She practices in our Wilkes-Barre office. Dr. Toole has been providing adult and pediatric care at the Children's Eye Center, and in private practice locations throughout the Wyoming Valley since 1988. Dr. Toole completed her undergraduate studies at Wilkes University and received her Bachelor of Visual Sciences and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia PA. She served as vice president of the Betta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and upon graduating was the recipient of the Alumni Award. A member and past president of the Northeast Pennsylvania Optometric Society she serves as the PA State Leader for the non-profit children's vision program, InfantSee. Dr. Toole practices primary eye care with a special interest in pediatric care including the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of amblyopia and strabismus. She offers contact lens and refractive care for children and adults. Dr. Toole is a lifetime resident of Wilkes-Barre, where she resides with her husband and two children.
