Times Leader is a daily newspaper published from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and was a part of the McClatchy Group, one of the largest newspaper and Internet publishers in the United States, till its sale in 2006, to Wilkes-Barre Publishing. Wilkes-Barre Publishing was formed by Richard Connor, a former president and publisher of Times Leader, in partnership with local investors and HM Capital Partners. The newspaper provides local, national and international news and has a local focus. The editorial, feature stories, business, and sports news highlight local events. There are also sections, such as entertainment, real estate, shopping, apartments, cars, travel, food and jobs, which provide complete local coverage. Times Leader also offers a separate classified advertisements section.
