I took in a sick stray, thought I could find her home. She was newly pregnant. I cared for her and her 3 kittens for months though I already have other cats. I tried finding homes with no luck and made an appointment weeks in advance just to surrender them to this "no-kill" shelter. When the day arrived and I brought them in I was told they are no longer no-kill.

I left with the cats and am still looking for homes for them. I wasted my time and money, driving there and having to leave work early for their only "available" appointment, being falsely led to think this place could help.

I didn't care for that mama stray and her babies for months just so they could kill them.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHELTER!!!! A friend of mine took two completely healthy cats to this shelter so they could find them good homes, as they were told when they got there that this was a no kill shelter. Another friend went there to adopt them and were told they put both of them down. Their excuse for this was that the cat was "stressed". If they had any knowledge that they might even do this, they would have never taken them there. Definitely go to another shelter.
