UPDATE: I received two phone calls from Valley State Bank and a letter from the bank president apologizing and vowing to correct the matter. Because the company cares enough to do that, I am updating my review. I still cannot give 5 stars due to the initial encounter but 4 stars seem appropriate given VSB's exceptional response.







On the road between OKC and Wichita. Far from home and needing cash I could not remember my PIN for the ATM. Called Visa and was told to take my ID and credit card into any bank to get a cash advance. Stopped at Valley State Bank. Was told by a rude manager that they only help "members." Needless to say they won't get a member out of me. If they can't come through for me when I need them - why would I ever give them my business? Drove down the road to Emprise Bank who helped me out, no questions asked.
