I feel very discouraged after reading some of these reviews. I hope everyone reading this will look at the big picture and realize these comments were made 2 years ago. A lot of good things can come about in 2 years. My sister just passed away at sandpiper after a long battle with dementia. I spent the last 3 days at her bedside and I couldn't help but feel guilty for not being there more often even though she didn't know who I was when I did visit. I worried she felt lonely but after spending those last days with her, I was blessed to realize just how amazing the staff really is and how much they loved her. They made a nursing home feel like a loving home. I wasn't going to mention names but I've always been a person who believes good work should be appreciated. One of the night nurses, Erin was by far the best nurse I've ever met. Her level of compassion is unmeasurable.

This is the most beautiful assisted living facility in town. The staff is wonderful. They take such good care of my family. I would recommend this facility to everyone in town. They are wonderful food, a beautiful view, and lots of activities. This is the only place I would want my loved ones to be.
