Today was our first visit to Indian Hills Animal Clinic, as we had to put our ailing, 15 year-old Brittany to sleep. He had failed terribly in the last 2 or 3 days and we knew it was time - past time, really - but it was so hard to make the decision to say goodbye to our dear, loving companion and friend. Our regular vet couldn't see Dash soon enough, but we couldn't bear to see him suffer any longer.
I am so glad we took a chance and called IHAC. We could not have asked for kinder and more sensitive treatment to dear, old Dash, and to ourselves. I wish we had gotten everyone's names, but I guess we were too upset to think of that right then... But, we'll be back, I guarantee it, with our other Brittany.
As for cost, IHAC charged us considerably less than our regular vet clinic quoted us, for the same services. Actually, they offered more services than our old vet clinic.
Thank you, IHAC staff, for your kindness, patience, and understanding of grieving family members.

We moved to Riverside area a year and a half ago and was looking for a vet for our 3 small dogs. The have been great to work with. Just the other day our youngest dog got through a hole in our fence and was attacked by a larger dog. I rushed him to Indian Hills clinic. The were able to see him right away. Had surgery the same day, and was home the same night. These people are fantastic to work with!! My hat's off to them!!

I am shocked that someone had a bad experience at Indian Hills Animal Clinic. We have been bringing our pets there for the last 5 years and have never had a bad experience. The receptionist Casey greets us by name and will even help answer our questions when we call in. We've seen Dr. Hicks, Dr. Hill and most recently Dr. Meyer and we've been impressed. I have always been given an estimate prior to anything being done and been able to approve or ask to wait on things. They never make me feel bad if I can't afford something at the time. In fact, they encourage splitting up the care into multiple visits to help us. We have 3 cats and 4 dogs and they know each and every one. They take care of them when we go on vacations and even sent us a picture during Christmas break. The clinic is always clean and fresh smelling and it's just what you want when you go to an animal hospital. It doesn't smell like urine or feces like other clinics. I could go on and on about Indian Hills Animal Clinic, but I think everyone should try them out for themselves. It's definitely worth any cost or drive. I want the best for my pets and they give it. Thank you, everyone. You will forever be the place I take my pets.

HORRIBLE VET. Incompetent st...

HORRIBLE VET. Incompetent staff and management. I could write pages of the horrible 48 hour I spent with these people.

I took my 17 year old cat there because they were just down the street and she was sick and stresses during traveling and her regular vet is across town. They took her and cut down all of her nail (we don't believe in that unless health reasons) without asking. The cat had healthy nails she grooms them constantly but they did it anyway. Unfortunately because she is so old she needs them to get onto her various perches around the house. We watched in horror as she fell 3 feet onto our hard wood floor because she couldn't get up to one of her spots.

They charges us for blood and urine work to see what is wrong with her....kind of....The tech took a blood sample that was not blood according to the lab. Same tech that cut her nails....grrrr. Management told me the next morning when she made it to work at 10 am that the vet would be calling soon because she was concerned with the lab results. Never heard from her...so I called back at 1 now that my family was in full anxiety mode about the cat. Was told lab was not done by the manager...huh....then was called back by head vet nearly 4 PM and told that the lab could not be run because it was not blood. What?! Stay away. I wish I would have read some reviews before I took our family pet there. Not to mention overprice. So much for getting what you pay for. They did offer me a refund...but I am still waiting on that

Caring people

All the people working at Indian Hills are very friendly and caring. I've had nothing.but good experiences there. They do seem a bit over-priced however.
