From the reservation, to the estimated price at the counter, to the pick-up (free upgrade too), to the drop-off, and finally the final price ($40 lower than estimated), the customer service was second-to-none. The location is also convenient (right near the turnpike). The car was in great shape and was very pleasant/easy to drive. I will definitely use this Avis again if I need a car in the area again.

I rented a car here and was late getting to the airport so I didn't have a chance to fill it up. They charged me over $70 and I only drove 120 mi. They are charging over $9 a gallon when local gas prices were $1.60. I understand rental car companies charge more if they fill the car but usually the charge is 2x the gas price not 10. I complained and they adjusted the price but shame on AVIS for screwing their customers.
