Maria did a fab job on my hair color and cut could not be happier..I’m used to paying much more at a higher end shop so I gave her a good tip she deserved it also gave me a shampoo that took away my headache....I will def be going back to see her

I would love to have an actual review to write, but when I arrived for my appointment after driving more than 20 minutes, I was told the woman who was supposed to do my hair never showed up for work. Nobody even bothered calling to cancel my appointment. And apparently the woman there had "already worked like a dog this week" and didn't want to do my roots. As a chain place I expected to be treated better. VERY disappointed and will not be going back.

Roland was the best, but I heard he's been gone for about a month. Does anyone know where he is working now?

These positive reviews are probably paid for given by the stylists themselves using fictitious names. Hairstylist turnover YES! If you take pride in your mane DO NOT go to this salon and if you do STAY AWAY FROM AMANDA. She needs to go back for training because she doesn't know how to give the most basic of cuts or even how to give basic layers without creating shelves and indents. WORST HAIRCUT I'VE EVER GOTTEN!!!

I was always a snob about haircuts. Never spent under $45 at a Toms River salon. My husband was getting a cut at the Hair Cuttery and talked me into coming with him. Had serious reservations!!!! Was shocked at what a great job Jean did. $15---I'm a convert now. My friends were there last week, and were very happy with the results. They recommended both Stacey and Rolland (probably spelled his name wrong)......Give it a try. The savings are definitely substantial.

The best hair cut yet...After seeing the same hair stylist for years, found Jean at the Hair Cuttery in Whiting, couldn't be more pleased. Took her time, attention to detail, with friendly conversation. Couldn't get a better cut for five times the price!!!!

HORRIBLE! Do not go to Stacie H. @ the Whiting, NJ store. Not only does she have a foul mouth in front of customers, she did a horrible cut on my hair (crooked & unprofessional). I should've known judging by her own hair..ridiculous! Someone needs to send that girl back to trade school!! Because of her I will not be going back.
