Provided by YP.comRENTER BEWARE! Read your contract VERY carefully BEFORE signing anything. We rented a car here in August 2013. Because we arrived (via Amtrak) late at night, my husband signed the contract after he and I discussed it with the Budget agent. We assumed the agent would only charge us for what we agreed to verbally. We ended up paying twice what we expected, due to services that were added to the contract without verbally disclosing them to us. Of course, they had a signature, and stuck with that as their defense. Our credit card company told us this happens often with some car rental agencies. Just hoping others will learn from our mistake.
