I am a woman of color and had a terrible problem with ingrown hairs on my face that was causing acne and clogged pores. After a few years I noticed it was beginning to leave dark marks all over my face. I was worried it was going to scar so a friend gave me the name of her esthetician that extracts her blackheads. After a few treatments I noticed that the acne and clogged pores started to diminish. Diane said there were ingrown hairs that were blocking the follicle which caused the acne and clogged pores - which in turn was leaving dark marks all over my face. Now I go to Diane on a regular schedule and she removes any ingrown hairs that she see and my complexion is so much better. I no longer get the pimples that were being caused by the ingrowns. I went to my dermatologist for acne and asked her what I could do about the dark marks on my face. She said they were from ingrown hairs getting trapped under the skin and gave me Diane’s card. I started going to diane for electrolysis and removal of the ingrown hairs, and my complexion is so much better ! I never realized that ingrown hairs could cause should havoc to the skin ! I unfortunately inherited blackheads and whiteheads from my grandfather. Blackheads are so unattractive - especially on a woman. I also have some white heads and acne from ingrown hairs. I tried all kinds of facial medications and went to several dermatologists, and they always came back. A friend told me about her esthetician , Skin Care by Diane, and said I should try her. I went to Diane about 8 months ago for extractions of these blackheads and so far, so good ! I am so pleased. I still go to her on occasion for ingrown hairs that cause acne and pimples, but they are much better than before. While I am there for that she cleans out other clogged pores to prevent further acne. I’m so thankful that I don’t have those ugly blackheads anymore.
