I had a really bad experience at Dakota. They are not professional in any way. I was belittled in front of waiting room and I in my heart believe they made my dog worse.

I've taken my dogs this vet for years. The doctor is so nasty and arrogant. My dogs are old. But i will take them somewhere else.

We absoluetly love Dakota Vet Center. The 1st visit is a little expensive because they make you buy a year supply of "Frontline" from them, which we did not like and is just a way for them to make more money off you. But, once we got over that, we are glad we chose Dakota and would never think of going anywhere else. Karen, the front desk person loves our little guy and knows him by name. She's always in a good mood, and makes the dreaded Dr visit a little less scary. Dr. Pete Michalek take all the time in the world to explain the proceedures and to answer all your questions and concerns. He never talks down to you and is happy to answer the silliest question that you may have. He spaced out our small breed dog's vaccinations and explained the importance of doing so. With every vaccination, he reminded us of the possible side effects and prepared us for what to do if there should be an such a reaction. He is very friendly, thorough and caring. We are truly happy with Dakota Vet.
