Provided by YP.comHidden Acres is a great facility for boarding your dog. Lea communicates right away if you have a question and even sent us this picture of our dog Lilly while we were away for a week. The dogs are allowed to play with other dogs during their stay and do not stay in a pen all day. I would hate to leave our 3 year old active lab anywhere else. She is as happy here as she is at home!
The dog kennel is clean and well maintained-no funny smells.
I get the feeling that Lea and her husband, Glen, love our dog almost as much as we do.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I are so thankful that we found Lea and Hidden Acres Farms. Nolan, our German Shepherd, had a wonderful time there playing with the other dogs and making friends. Lea took a lot of our stress away about leaving Nolan. We knew he was well taken care of and happy. We have already made arrangements for him to stay there when we go on our next trip away.

Provided by YPmobileLove this place and the owner. It's our dogs favorite place to go! We have boarded him there about 10 times and have never had a problem. Plus some of the times it has been as many as 10 days and I never have to worry about him. It makes me feel okay leaving him for so long because I know he is able to run and play and is not stuck in a small kennel all day long!

Provided by YP.comWe were traveling out of town for Thanksgiving, and had arranged for a friend to babysit our "babies" (dogs) for us. However, our friend had to cancel at the last minute, and we were frantically trying to find a place to keep Oscar - our very skittish dog that we rescued a few years ago. I spoke to Lea on the phone, explained the situtation, and although she was fully booked, she was able to rearrange some of her own dogs to accomodate Oscar. Hidden Acres is in a great location, and the facilities are wonderful. The runs are extra long, and Lea lets the dogs out to race around the 2 acres that are fenced. Lea has a great rapport with animals - I would not hesitate to board our babies with her again.
Thank you for allowing us to keep Oscar. I apologize for not responding sooner, but have not checked this page in a while. I hope this note finds Oscar more comfortable in his new home and that he is doing great.

Provided by YP.comMy dog, Samantha, loves to go visit Lea! the property is beautiful and Lea takes wonderful care of Samantha. The dogs are given plenty of room and freedom to run and play and I feel comfortable leaving her with Lea knowing that she will be well cared for...
Thank you so much for entrusting me with your family member, Samantha. I look forward to her visit the next time she needs me. And thank you so much for the glowing review.

Provided by YP.comWe went out of town for 12 days this summer and I was very concerned with where to board our dogs. We have a very high energy 15 month old Aussie who needs lots of exercise and stimulation and an 11 year old Aussie, who gets depressed when we are gone, even if we have someone come to our house to take care of him. After an exhaustive search, I found Hidden Acres Farms and thought it was exactly what I was looking for and very reasonably priced. I spoke with Lea, then packed up the entire family and the dogs to go visit. I had very high expectations and was more impressed with the facilities than I ever hoped for! The area is totally fenced in and has tons of room for the dogs to play. There are nice sunny stretches of open yard for the dogs to chase each other or play fetch, there are nice shady areas with lots of trees and bushed to run around in or sleep under and the house has a huge wrap around porch perfect for those lazy dog days of summer. At night, the dogs are put in extremely large indoor/outdoor kennels that are heated and cooled, and then they are let out again early the next morning. They are also fed in the kennels so food does not cause an issue among the dogs.
When we picked our dogs up from their 12 day vacation, we actually felt guilty making them leave! The young dog enjoyed having constant playmates and didn't seem to miss us at all. The old dog spent some time playing but mostly enjoyed following Lea's husband around and hanging out under the trees. For the first time ever, I believe he enjoyed himself while we were gone! We were so pleased with our experience, we boarded them again the following month, for a long weekend. Typically, we would have had someone just come feed them, but they had so much fun at Hidden Acres Farms, we knew they would be happier there.
Lea is a very kind, caring lady and loves all dogs. We live in Kennesaw and the kennel is a little bit of a drive, but worth it! I highly recommend this kennel to anyone with social dogs, both large and small (she raises Chihuahuas as well as labs). I do not recommend it for dogs that dislike other dogs or have aggression issues.
Thank you so much for allowing me to keep your babies while you were on vacation. I made sure they were on vacation as well. They are always welcome here and we feel like they are now a part of our family as well. Ranger is a wonderful old man and Belle is an entertaining young lady. We look forward to their next visit. And thank you so much for such a complimentary review and trusting us with your four legged family members.

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I were looking for a place to board our 5 month old puppy for the first time. We did a search and Hidden Acres Country Kennel showed up as one of the kennels close to our house. We logged on to their website and fell in love with it from the description and photos. This was the first time we left our puppy overnight and we were worried about boarding her. You hear terrible stories all the time, so we knew we wanted to research where we brought her. I called and spoke with Lea and she told us we were more than welcome to come and take a tour and to bring our puppy with us to check the place out. When we arrived we were greeted by her very friendly dogs and our puppy was instantly comfortable. After leaving my husband and I were very comfortable leaving our puppy for the weekend and we knew she would be in good hands. I love that she was not kept in a tiny crate the whole weekend, she was able to run around with all the other dogs and play. I also liked the fact that we brought her food with us so she would not get an upset stomach from switching. When we arrived back from our trip our puppy was running around with the other dogs having such a good time she hardly noticed us. I would definitely recommend Hidden Acres Country Kennel to anyone that was looking to board their dog (and have told a few neighbors and friends about it). Lea is very caring and I know she took good care of my puppy while we were gone. We will be bring her back for our next trip in August!!!
Thank you for entrusting your baby to my care both times you were out of town. I thoroughly enjoyed her as well as my other young boarders with lots of energy for playing. And thank you for your review and kind words. You were the first to do this and it made me feel really good inside that someone appreciated how I treat my animals as well as others. Thank you.
