Rodriguez Customs did a great job with the work they did for me. Super convenient, friendly and professional, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their vehicle.

I went to Rodriguez Auto Body and Custom after a friend recommended the shop. He had his entire Nissan fix after being hit. I only needed my front window repaired but had a great experience. Not only did they fix my window promptly they were terrific. I paid less the Safelite they quicker.

The first sign that I should have second guessed John Rodriguez’s judgment was when he advised me to throw away the bumper cover. Due to this, he ended up ordering the wrong bumper cover and then blamed me for him not knowing which bumper cover to purchase. Although I thought my car looked good when I got it back, I had a sinking feeling that something was off. Unfortunately, it took me three months to figure out the “full story” of everything that is still wrong with my vehicle. Just to list a few of the things wrong with my car: 1) there is overspray that covers my entire vehicle; 2) the paint job is not good and he painted the bumper incorrectly; 3) the words on the hatch were not re-added and although I did find out that this is pretty normal practice, I am upset for two reasons: first, I feel that I should have been consulted on if I wanted them placed back on the vehicle and second when I confronted John, his response was “I thought I did.. that’s what happens when you work by yourself with to much to do..;” and 4) there were multiple broken and missing pieces and even after I confronted him with photo evidence, John swore that he had purchased and used only new parts. I ended up taking my vehicle to my brother, who works at a collision repair shop, where he did a few minor repairs and ordered/installed new parts for what was missing and broken. I texted John these repairs and he offered to pay for the mistakes he made, so I sent him the receipts for the parts and the estimate my brother’s shop drew up showing what it would cost to get my car back to “like new.” After some debating, John and I settled on a reasonable number and here it is almost two months later and I have yet to receive the payment although he has sworn he has sent it. John Rodriguez is not trustworthy and I do not nor will I ever recommend anyone take their vehicle to Rodriguez Auto Body and Custom Painting.
