Never again....

Reserved a car for a long family trip under Hertz's "Standard Car" designation, which showed a photo and described a Nissan Altima "or similar" car. When I arrived, they told me that all they had was a Chevy Cruze, which is considerably smaller than the Altima and has poorer safety ratings. It also was a 2015 model rather than a current 2016 model (with 2017s about to come out). I politely expressed my disappointment, but was told that this was my only option unless I paid for an upgrade... much smaller and less comfortable than I had expected, and the Cruze has less of the amenities/features of the Altima. When I brought the car back from the trip and complained again, got the same old - "sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it." No attempt to even offer me a coupon for my next visit, nada, zip, nothing. Accommodating customers' needs is apparently not important. I will not be dealing with Hertz again.
