I had two trees planted down by the street, a sugar maple and a green ash. Both trees were planted 40 years ago in the same hole and grew together in a "V". The width of the maple's trunk was much smaller than the ash so it actually looked about 10 years old comparatively.



This company was hired by the city to trim the trees on my street. They were doing a fine job until they got to my house this morning, I turned my back for a minute and they fell my maple. When I confronted them about this they told me that they were hired to trim the trees. I told them that it was a separate tree and they started arguing with me to the contrary. Absolutely unbelievable that this company would mistake two separate trees and decide to cut the maple down. They then proceeded to cut off all the branches below 20 ft. on the ash tree, making it look like garbage.



This company has ruined my trees. Beware!

They did a nice job but didn't leave the wood I wanted the wood and they wrote it on the estimate. I called them back said they would bring me some wood it took them twice but I did get wood I am happy with that! Thank you Dearborn Tree Service I would call you again!!

Arrived promptly at 9. Main crew done at noon. Cleaned up great. Stump remover guy arrived later. Did a great job. Would reccommend and use again

We hired Dearborn Tree to take down 4 trees and do some substantial trimming of the many other trees in our yard. We live on a wooded residential lot. We were VERY specific that the large branch hanging over our house was the PRIORITY of the entire job. That is the branch that they didn't remove, as they stated they needed larger equipment to take it down safely and w/out damaging our house.

We paid them IN FULL IN CASH. They came out on February 17, 2010 and said they'd return the following Tuesday to finish the job. Today is MAY 24, 2010 and the job is STILL NOT DONE! We call at least 3-4 times per week, sometimes we get a return call, but most of the time we do not. There is NEVER anyone to answer the calls, with the exception of today, I actually got through to someone, so you always have to leave a message. The last promise we got was that the job would be done last Friday (5/21/2010), guess what, IT IS NOT DONE!

They have completely put our lives on hold. We are getting an asphalt driveway that cannot be put in until they complete their job, which we have made them aware of every time we call them. They don't care. By not finishing their job means we haven't gotten our driveway, so our kids have no where to ride their bikes or play, and this also means we cannot get our landscaping and mulch since we have to wait on the driveway to set the shape of our landscaping.

Dearborn Tree are RIDICULOUS to work with. The job they initially did was good and at a fair price, but their follow through and completion of work is pitiful. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else to do the job for you.

Lesson learned, NEVER trust anyone that says they will complete the job and NEVER NEVER NEVER pay in full again!

They cut down the wrong tree, killing a beautiful vibrant Crimson Maple instead of removing the diseased Red Maple that I asked for. Now they won't return my phone calls. They also have an F rating on the BBB website for similar complaints.

Hired for one tree limb removal and they didn't finish the job and damaged my perennial garden; no return phone call after 5 messages. Not only will I never hire them again, I warn everyone not to hire them! Huge disappointment! Warning - don't pay them in advance!

They did a great job on my neighbor's tree so I hired them. Price was good, did a great job trimming the tree, and they cleaned up all the mess. I recommeded them to my parents for some work they need done.

These guys are very skilled and very professional! You definately get your money's worth!! I will refer them to everyone I know!!

First of all this guy doesn't live in Dearborn. The guy is very rude and does a sloppy job leaving a lot of debris and mess. You don't want to bother with this slob.
