California Dance Theatre, founded in 1985, is located in Agoura Hills, Calif. The theater offers a more than 8,000-square-foot studio, and staffs over 20 teachers on faculty. The theater presents its performances at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza every year. The theater offers jazz, lyrical, and hip hop department, preballet and tap combination classes, as well as creative dance. It also offers baby ballet and daily preprofessional ballet program. Pacific Festival Ballet is the studio's nonprofit classical company presenting various spring concerts. California Dance Theatre is a members of the Dance Masters of America. Pacific Festival Ballet has been involved in children's outreach program for public schools since 1996 introducing classical ballet to young school children.
