Dr. Farnum is very friendly and good at his job. His billing department is HORRIBLE. In April of last year I had an epidural steroid injection done by Dr. Farnum. Dr. Farnum is an out of network provider and he assured me that he would accept what was paid by my insurance company as payment in full. The claim was submitted EIGHT months after my procedure and Ethel, in his billing department, will not accept the check from the insurance company as payment in full. She expects me to pay almost 50% more than the amount paid by the insurance company. I have used Dr. Farnum previously and he always took the reimbursement by my insurance as payment in full.Make sure you get any promises made by Dr. Farnum in writing.
