I had excellent service with British Delights. I have been a patron of theirs for over five years. I recently reordered a special butter dish. This time I received a defective piece. I called them and spoke to the manager. He was extremely nice. The item was wrapped from the manufacturer. British Delight assumed it was fine and shipped it to me. I offered to ship it back but the manager said no. Instead he guarenteed he would open up the box from the manufacturer and ensure the next dish would be right or he would refund my money. Two days later I received a perfect dish. Thank you British Delights! George Yates, New Castle, Pa

I saw the negative reviews abo...

I saw the negative reviews above and just wanted to say that my experience has been different and positive. I ordered four beer glasses from them and one of arrived broken. A phone call later, I was sent a new glass in replacement.



I just wanted to share this because it is possible that British Delights is currently working on its customer service and in that case they are on the right track.

Customer Service is non-existent

I placed an order 4 weeks before Dec.21st when I am leaving for the Holidays. My credit card was charged the next day. Here's the information...allow 3-5 business days for processing and then it's shipped ground (7-10 business days), plenty of time. However, the small print does say "if items are in stock" according to when I placed my order they were. I expected them last week. But no, the order was not shipped until Dec.13th and I was not informed about this until I called and spoke to rather a rude woman who told me that if I haven't received my order in 4 days I needed to call.

Stupid me, for not expecting this order in 4 days. I also expected an email to inform me of the delay, but was told that they didn't have the time to do this.



If you do order, keep calling and making sure that your order is shipped, especially if you need it in time for something. Alas, I won't get my Christmas Pudding on Christmas Day this year and my neice won't get her Cadbury's Stocking.
