Took my 97 Honda Accord in for an alignment and got ripped off for $80 and put my life at risk. They said the rear adjustment was rust frozen and couldn't be adjusted...and a mech at another alignment shop easily adjusted both sides with a 12" ratchet after leaning into it and breaking the adjustment bolts loose. I had to straighten the steering wheel when they failed to straighten it before doing the front alignment, taking me 15 minutes, and I'm not a mechanic. I would presume that straightening the steering wheel, if it is not aligned correctly, would be a component of a complete alignment, which is what I asked for when I took my vehicle in to them. I called the next day and complained that the car would veer to either direction after going over bumps on the freeway and the front-end would shake real bad when I braked the car. They wanted me to bring the car in and leave it, but by now, I didn't trust their ability to repair the vehicle after the dangerous mechanic work and shoddy performance in the first place. The manager or owner, not sure which, stated that work that could have been done did not, because it was close to quitting time that day. So instead of safely and correctly aligning the 4 corners of the vehicle, possibly staying over-time to ensure the vehicle was properly aligned and safe to drive, they released it to me so I could possibly end up in a freeway accident.
