HECO manufactures planetary speed reducers often matched with low speed high torque hydraulic motors. The company serves a broad range of industries, including primary metals, food processing, petroleum, agriculture, aerospace, marine, fishing, material handling and mobile equipment. Within each series it offers a number of options to customize the product for its customers applications. HECO is applied in swing drives, wheel drives, conveyor drives, winch drives, mixers, augers and numerous other types of applications. HECO serves these markets primarily through a network of industrial distributors, as well as a limited direct sales force. HECO Gears was founded in 1974 and has headquarters in West Sacramento, Calif. The HECO product line consists of three basic series of planetary speed reducers.
