I've been a customer for 4 yrs. I've repeatedly informed JL my aftermarket performance ball joints have grease zerts and require lube. I went for an oil change today, I verified they know about the zerts. At post inspection, they showed me my coolant was a quart low...? I checked under the vehicle and showed them that the zerts had not been touched. They pulled the vehicle back in, and I asked to speak with the mgr Nikolay. I negotiated for them to top the coolant. The tech said my ball joints were torn. I stated they shouldn't be, unless they are not competent to do that service. When I got home, I crawled under the vehicle, to check that the oil filter had been changed, and to inspect the ball joints. I opened the hood to verify that the coolant had been topped off. What I found...? That the tech disconnected a vacuum line from my air filter to the engine, when he was topping off the coolant. No longer a customer. Filing a report with Bureau of Automotive Repair.
