Located in West Palm Beach, Fla., The King's Academy is a private, nonprofit, college preparatory, interdenominational Christian school. Founded in 1969, it serves various students in prekindergarten through grade 12. Its curriculum includes various advanced placement and honors courses, including mathematics, science, history, Bible studies, foreign languages, computer science, sculpture, journalism and drama. The academy offers an after school care program that includes Christian education. Its fine arts program includes band, vocal arts, theater and visual arts. The academy offers a wide variety of athletic activities, such as football, bowling, volleyball, swimming, golf, cross country, tennis, softball, track, baseball and soccer. Its store provides school uniforms, supplies, gift items, devotional books, Bibles, inspirational jewelry, cards, gift wrap, hats and shirts. The King's Academy is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and Association of Christian Schools International.
