Today I wanted to purchase some art supplies. My husband, son and I had been in the store for 15-20 minutes. At which time I was approached by one of the staff. I was asked to bring my purse and leave it in the front of the store. She went on to tell me that the owner has 14 cameras and he is watching them right now and my bag is just too big.
WHAT! Am I going to stuff an easel in my purse? (because that is what I was looking at). We were the only people in the store. If there are 14 cameras and we are the only people in the store then surely you would know if I was stealing. Today was my first time in the store and also my last. There are ways to prevent and reduce theft...this is not one. The only thing that was accomplished was that I will never, ever shop at your store again. Please, if you don't want people with big purses in your store, you should post a notice in plain view and not wait until someone has been shopping for 20 minutes to say something!

I have made several purchases from Easel Art Supply Center. I am satisfied with the quality of the products. The staff is knowledgeable and offers good suggestions. The prices seem to be reasonable and the inventory is extensive. They always seem to have what I need.

I have been using Easel Art for my art supplies for many years. Their prices are competitive with the big boxes, especially for canvases, the selection is good and the staff is always very helpful. I have also recommended Easel Art's framing services to my clients who have found the service professional and competitive.

I highly recommend Easel Art to all my fellow friends and students.. Easel Art has friendly sales people that actually help you and walk you to the item you actually need. Parking is easy and they are open early 9:00 am and close at 6:00pm. They cut my foam core and mat boards for me and do it with a smile. The store is very large. This is one of the few stores that actually has a large selection of drafting tables and all the old time drafting supplies that are hard to get. I asked how long they have been in business and I was told 32 years. . I give Easel Art 5 stars for their inventory and 5 stars for their being helpful which you don't find too much anymore..
